Dear Prospective Single Gourmets,
I hope the website has given you a feel for not just what we do, but for the personality of the club – friendly, casual, and welcoming. Most people aren’t comfortable walking into a room full of strangers. However, going to dinner at a friend’s house, and meeting their friends, is fun. That’s what a Single Gourmet event is like –getting together with “friends of friends”.
I’m always at the events to greet and introduce you and make sure you are comfortable. I take great care in planning each activity, and work hard to ensure that it is enjoyable and worthwhile. Our membership is diverse, but everyone is very nice, friendly, welcoming, and, of course, single.
In this spirit of fun and friendship, I invite you to join us as we wine and dine; talk and laugh; and savor the best our area has to offer. As you can see on the website, we go to a great variety of great restaurants. Dine with us overlooking the Hudson; feast on excellent cuisine at inns steeped in history; relax and socialize at cocktail parties; enjoy unique tasting menus prepared just for us; perhaps even improve your kitchen techniques at a cooking class; and make new single friends while over a glass of wine and a shared meal.
