Membership Guarantee
If you decide that the club is not for you, after attending 2 events within the first 2 months of your membership, notify us in writing (email or regular mail) and we will issue you a $50 refund.
Event Reservations
To allow the restaurants or other facilities to better serve us, we ask that reservations be made as far in advance as possible. Although we like early reservations, in many cases we can accept reservations even on the day of the event, with the approval of the restaurant. So if you decide at the last minute that you'd like to attend an event, give us a call -- we'll do our best to accomodate you! And in cases where reservations are required particularly early, this fact is stated in the members' newsletter and website.
Reservations are accepted via:
- online Reservation Form in the Members section of the website.
- mail, to 166 Franklin Ave, Harrison, NY 10528.

Reservations must be made IN WRITING and accompanied by payment. Phone reservations are not accepted and areservation is not complete until payment is received, so please advise us as to whether you would like us to charge your credit card, or will be sending a check. All reservations require a credit card on file with us to hold your spot, even if you plan to mail a check This is particularly important for late reservations where there is no time for a check to be arrive by mail before the event.)
Event Payments + Prices
Single Gourmet accepts payment by check, Visa or MasterCard, due prior to the event. Credit cards are charged no earlier than one week prior to the event. The members' newsletter and website section detail the price of each event and what is included - always the full meal with tax and gratuity; sometimes beverages are included as well.
Guest Policy
Members are welcome to bring one or more guests on a space available basis. There is a $5-$10 surcharge above the cost of the event for each guest. In all fairness to our members, we ask that no one bring the same guest to more than one event. Of course, we would warmly welcome them to become members.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are accepted at any time, with any credit applied to your Single Gourmet account, to be used toward the upcoming event of your choice. The amount of the credit depends upon how early you cancel, and whether we can fill your spot from a wait list.
FOR METRO NY EVENTS (WESTCHESTER, ROCKLAND, PUTNAM, FAIRFIELD)
- 8+ days prior – Full credit minus $5 cancellation fee.
- 48 to 24 hrs prior - 50% credit.
- Within 24 hrs – no credit.
FOR NYC & LONG ISLAND EVENTS
- 8+ days prior - Full credit minus $5 cancellation fee
- Within 7 days prior - no credit
Restaurants' cancellation and confirmed count policy overrides the above; any differences or special circumstances will be noted in the newsletter. No cash refunds. Credits must be used within 3 months towards another Single Gourmet event.
If you reserve for an event and cannot attend, please call to cancel. Even a last minute cancellation can sometimes be credited if we can find a replacement from a waiting list.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL A MEMBERSHIP AT ANY TIME DUE TO INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR.
